Budget allocation for ICT Division has increased by BDT 274 crore
In the budget of 2022-23 financial year, the Information and Communication Technology Division has been allocated Tk. 1,916 crore. Which is Tk. 274 crore more than the last financial year.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented the budget proposal for the fiscal year 2022-23 in the National Assembly on Thursday afternoon in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In the last financial year, Tk. 1,721 crore was allocated to the ICT Division. In the revised budget, the size stood at Tk. 1,642 crore.
The total size of the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 is 6 lakh 78 thousand 64 crore Taka.
